Pulpy pumpkin bits. There’s an interesting “green” taste to this bar that accentuates the pumpkin. It’s as if you have pieces of raw, unsweetened pumpkin mixed with the otherwise ultra-sweet Clif mixture. It doesn’t taste like pumpkin pie, although there is a presence of clove that keeps it from tasting like Mexican calabaza candy. Not my favorite, but it doesn’t suck.

Updated: 12/2/2011.  After another taste, bumped my rating a 1/2 star to 3 1/2.  I don’t know if the formula or my taste has changed a bit, but on 2nd tasting it’s actually pretty good.
