For a while, I’ve posted stats and quick reviews of USB flash drives. NirSoft has shown the way with a a great addition to a freeware utility called USBDeview. The newer versions of the program include the ability to not just speed test your drive, but upload the results, along with vendor and product ID’s, to a central server. This allows a continuously updated list of standardized test results. Crowdsourcing rules!

The updated list of drive data is posted on NirSoft’s summary page.  There is also a rolling 60-day tally of user uploaded stats.  If you can’t find the USB speed test data you’re looking for there, download the app yourself and add it!  Nice work.
