Along comes a new Clif bar… Picked this up at a Whole Foods in Dallas over the holidays, and now’s the time for a pre-run fuel up.

In short, it’s a winner — a bit like one of my favorite desserts:  Magic Cookie Bars.  The texture is a bit different due to the minced coconut, and it’s not quite as overwhelmingly sweet as some bars.

Unless you’re a person who’s predisposed against the taste of coconut, like those whose genes enable them to taste PTC, this is one of the better Clif bars without question.
